President of Uzbekistan arrives in Japan on an official visit

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Tokyo on an official visit, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, at Haneda International Airport, the Head of our state was welcomed by the Minister for internal affairs and communications of Japan Yoshimasa Hayashi and other officials.

The main events of the visit are scheduled for December 19-20. The President of Uzbekistan will hold meetings with Emperor of Japan Naruhito, Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi and other officials, as well as representatives of the business and academic communities.

The Leader of Uzbekistan will also take part in the first summit of the “Central Asia + Japan” Dialogue.
