As part of his business program in New York City, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Cathinka Wahlstrom, Chief Commercial Officer of the Bank of New York (BNY).
BNY is a leading American banking and investment group providing a wide range of financial services, including asset management, custody and servicing of securities, as well as public and private financing services.
The bank’s plans to assist in the issuance and placement of Eurobonds of major Uzbekistan enterprises, as well as in the development of Uzbekistan’s banking and financial sector, were supported.
