President of Uzbekistan meets with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Japan's Parliament in Tokyo

Today, as part of the program of the official visit to Tokyo, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament Fukushiro Nukaga, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, issues of further strengthening Uzbek-Japanese strategic partnership relations and expanding multifaceted cooperation, including along parliamentary lines, were discussed.

With deep satisfaction, the intensity of mutual visits and meetings of parliamentary delegations of the two countries was noted. Friendship groups are actively functioning in the parliaments. In May, the regular interparliamentary forum was successfully held in Tokyo.

The importance was noted of establishing cooperation between relevant parliamentary committees, local councils of people’s deputies, and prefectural assemblies of Japan, as well as exchanging legislative experience in the field of digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
