At the invitation of the of U.S. President Donald Trump, today, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed on a working visit to Switzerland to participate in the upcoming ceremony in Davos marking the signing of the charter of the Board of Peace, created at the initiative of the American leader, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our state, earlier, the leader of Uzbekistan accepted the invitation to join the Board as a founding member.

In his message to the U.S. President, the leader of our country noted that this initiative is seen as an important step in resolving long-standing conflicts in the Middle East and ensuring peace and stability in the wider region.
