PRESIDENT'S RECEPTION RECEIVES 140 THOUSAND APPLICATIONS FROM RESIDENTS OF TASHKENT

The Institute for Advanced Training of Physicians hosted an event recently with the participation of employees of the Service for control and coordination of work with appeals of individuals and legal entities of the Office of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the heads of the responsible organizations of Mirzo Ulugbek district of the capital for the public.

The event was devoted to addressing appeals received by the President’s reception and the People’s Receptions as well as to elimination of existing problems.

Within the framework of the event, the employees of Tashkent city and Mirzo Ulugbek district khokimiyats, heads of law enforcement agencies and relevant organizations communicated directly with the public.

The speakers stressed that today there is a need for comprehensive solution to the problems of the population and further provision of prosperous life as well as a responsible attitude to the elimination of shortcomings on the ground.

Participants were informed that as of March 25, the virtual reception received a total of 140,674 appeals from the citizens living in Tashkent, 16,843 of which fell on the residents of Mirzo Ulugbek district. In particular, 21% of issues related to the acquisition and allocation of land for housing construction, 9.6% - to consideration of issues in criminal, civil, economic courts as well as to execution of the conclusions reached on them, 8.5% - to material assistance, wages, pensions and child allowances.

The event considered about 170 appeals, a significant part of which was positively resolved. In particular, an appeal from a resident of Mirzo Ulugbek district, Ruslan Shamsutdinov for repair of the pavement, an appeal from 2nd group invalid Mukhabbat Maminova who needed a wheelchair for her mother, an appeal from Ulugbek Abdullaev on equal compensation for his clinic building which got into the liquidation project, as well as an appeal from Vera Gerninga about the actions of the employees of the district gas service were resolved in favor of citizens.

Instructions were given to the relevant organizations of the district and city concerning the appeals examined.
