PRESIDENT VISITED TAMDIN DISTRICT

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited one of the most remote areas of Navoi region – Tamdin. At the district children’s school of music and art No.12, he got acquainted with projects and plans in the region for the future.

The President was informed about measures of comprehensive development of Tamdin, Uchkuduk, Kanimekh districts and Zarafshan city. Projects planned in these remote areas in the sphere of industry, production of consumer goods, agricultural products, and provision of services will serve to improve the well-being of the population.

Uchkuduk district will be oriented on processing wool and manufacturing finished products from it. “Uchkuduk Textile” LLC plans to organize production of ready-made clothes this year, which will make it possible to employ 320 people. “Kizilkum marvaridi” enterprise is creating a greenhouse on the basis of hydroponics.

Projects on organizing production of 4,5 thousand tons of armature, 10 million square meters of glass, 250 million pieces of glass containers, livestock complex for almost 2 thousand cattle, refrigerated storages with a capacity of 500 and 200 tons, poultry farms for more than 100 thousand birds, fish farming and greenhouses will be implemented in Zarafshan.

Similar promising projects will be implemented in Tamdin, Kanimekh districts. As a result, 4 thousand jobs will be created in two years.
