President welcomes plans to expand OTP Bank Group's operations in Uzbekistan

As part of the business program of his official visit, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, held a meeting with Sándor Csányi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OTP Bank Group.

The bank’s rapidly growing activities in Uzbekistan’s banking and financial sector since 2023 were noted with satisfaction.

The Head of State welcomed joint programs to develop auto lending and finance business projects.

The timely implementation of a major project to establish a poultry cluster was emphasized as a priority.

Additionally, the promotion and support of Hungarian companies’ projects within the industrial park in Tashkent region were identified as a key area of focus.
