Presidential candidate Narzullo Oblomurodov meets with Tashkent city voters

At the meeting with voters in Tashkent, the candidate for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan Narzullo Oblomurodov emphasized that the main task of the party from which he was nominated for the post of leader of the country is to protect the purity of the air, to ensure that its quality indicators comply with environmental standards.

“It is necessary to introduce a system for assessing the effectiveness of normative-legal acts, to ensure public participation in the analysis of the impact of economic activities on the environment, to improve the process of environmental expertise in the future, to direct constant attention to solving important issues that are of great importance for the ecology of our country”, the candidate said.

“We advocate the introduction of mechanisms for the application of environmental safety criteria in the development of strategic programs for the development of economic sectors and regions, the transformation of the state environmental expertise system based on international standards and the development of the institution of public hearings, the introduction of the practice of insurance against environmental disasters, the use of international environmental management systems at facilities, included in the category of high and medium risk of impact on the environment, as well as the development of legislative acts aimed at expanding the scope of environmental certification of products, goods and services”.
