At the festive event, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan M.Yerniyazov and Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan K.Sariyev handed over Presidential gifts to children of law enforcement officers and soldiers, who died during execution of their service duties, from low-income and large families, and children of “Mekhribonlik” houses.
Santa Claus and Snow Maiden, fairy-tale characters are giving joy to children, dancing around the Christmas tree along with them. A theatrical concert program was presented to the participants of the festival.
Presidential Christmas tree was also held at Karakalpak State Academic Musical Theater named after Berdakh. Presidential gifts were presented to about 100 students of special boarding schools, specialized schools.
Celebrations of the Presidential Christmas tree are organized on the central squares of all cities and district centers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
