Pressing Issues in Labor Relations Discussed in Geneva

The 107th session of the International Labor Conference is currently in progress in Geneva. More than 4 thousand delegates from 187 member states of the International Labor Organization (ILO) are discussing a wide range of issues.

The delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic Tanzila Narbayeva takes part in the work of the 107th session. The group also includes the Minister of Employment and Labor Relations S.Kudbiev, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry A.Ikramov, Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan B.Mahmadaliyev.

Topical issues in the sphere of labor, social dialogue and gender equality in the labor market are discussed. The members of the Uzbek delegation intend to share positive experience of working in the field of social and labor relations with the ILO with participants, talk about how cardinal measures are taken in Uzbekistan to create decent working conditions for the population.
