Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babiš arrived in Uzbekistan on April 29 on an official visit.

Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babiš arrived in Uzbekistan on April 29 on an official visit.
At Tashkent International Airport “Tashkent-Humo”, the distinguished guest was welcomed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and other officials.

In accordance with the program of the visit, high-level talks will be held in the city of Tashkent, during which prospects for the development of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic will be discussed.

The focus will be on increasing mutual trade and deepening cooperation in the fields of mechanical engineering, green energy, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and transport. Issues of interaction in the cultural, humanitarian, and educational spheres will also be discussed.

An exchange of views on the international agenda is also expected, including mutual support at multilateral platforms. Following the meeting, the signing of a package of bilateral documents is envisaged.

As part of the visit program, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš will also take part in the Uzbekistan – Czech Business Forum.
