As part of his official visit to Uzbekistan, the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babiš visited the Islamic Civilization Center in Tashkent, which is not only a national treasure but also a gem of the entire Islamic world.
The Islamic Civilization Center is a unique bridge connecting the past and the present across scientific, educational, and historical dimensions. Today, this majestic complex draws global attention for its scale and significance. Despite being built relatively recently, the center has already earned high recognition from many authoritative international organizations and publications.

For visitors, handout materials, brochures, and books have been prepared in accordance with international service standards. For the first time in Uzbekistan’s museum practice, with the involvement of international experts, the chemical composition and dating of all museum exhibits have been determined in a modern chemical-physical laboratory, and their technical passports have been prepared.

The exhibits have been digitized in accordance with ISO standards and placed on a unified electronic platform. Based on the requirements of UNESCO and the International Council of Museums, as well as the experience of leading museums worldwide, standards and classifications for exhibit labeling have been developed across eight areas. Thanks to QR codes on each exhibit, visitors can use a mobile phone or tablet to access its video and audio content, initially in three languages and later in eight.

In addition, the use of robot guides, tablets for video and audio familiarization, as well as audio guides, radio guides, and guiding headsets is envisaged, as practiced in the British Museum, Louvre Museum, and Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babiš, after becoming familiar with the exhibits of the Islamic Civilization Center, which houses unique masterpieces comparable to those in the collections of the world’s leading museums, expressed admiration for the rich heritage of our ancestors.
