The Tashkent University of Information Technologies held scientific seminar on "Problems of the Information Society in the Republic of Uzbekistan in the context of globalization".
According to the university, the event was attended by faculty and masters of "Economics and Management in ICT", as well as representatives of "Uzbektelecom", SB "Alscom", JSCB "Aloqabank" and others.
The seminar focused on the most important trends of the rapid expansion of world demand and international trade in ICT goods.
It was also noted that of particular relevance is the need to study in Uzbekistan issues of improving the competitiveness of the ICT sector.
It should be noted that the event is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the university.
