The Chairperson of the Art and Culture Development Foundation, Gayane Umerova, met in Beijing with the Chairperson of the International Division of the Chinese State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) Gao Bo, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the telegram channel of the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan, during the conversation, issues of cooperation on the construction of the National Museum of New Uzbekistan, which is being developed by the famous Japanese architect Tadao Ando, were discussed. The project will officially enter into force and become a new cultural symbol, combining the historical heritage of our country and contemporary artistic vision.

The discussions placed particular emphasis on the highest standards of architectural quality, the use of resilient materials, and the incorporation of leading global practices. Both parties expressed confidence that their joint endeavours will ensure the museum’s realisation at the very highest level, establishing it as one of the foremost cultural institutions of Uzbekistan and a beacon for Central Asia as a whole.
