In our country, upbringing of harmonious, comprehensively developed generation is one of the most important areas of public policy. Therefore, in the years of independence, the focus directed to the development of children’s sports, improving its institutional framework.
Over the past period Uzbekistan adopted laws "On Physical Culture and Sports", "On Education", decrees and resolutions to the President, implement a national program for training. On this basis, the necessary conditions for the education of the younger, promising, highly intelligent, possessing modern knowledge, free-thinking, physically and spiritually strong young generation.
In particular, in accordance with the presidential decree "On creation of the Development Fund for Children’s Sport’ of 24 October 2002, "On Measures to Improve the Development Fund of Children’s Sport" of 29 August 2004 the work in this direction has been raised to a new level. Since the inception of the fund built over 1700 sports facilities across the country. They are equipped with modern sports equipment. Along with this unique three-stage held sports competitions "Umid Nihollari", "Barkamol avlod" and Universiade.
All this, of course, contributed to the mass involvement of children in sports, to strengthen their health achievements of our young people good results in the international arena and thereby augmenting the prestige of our motherland in the world.
A huge concern of the state of the physical and spiritual development of the younger generation - is essentially a concern for the future of our country, an important factor in achieving good purposes.
