International Exhibition Center in Moscow "Crocus Expo" hosted the International specialized exhibition of footwear, accessories and components Mosshoes materials.
More than 350 companies from 20 countries have showed their products at the exhibition. Wholesale buyers and retailers are able to find a wide range of men’s and women’s shoes in all price segments at the exhibition stands, as well as leather goods and accessories.
Uzbekistan was presented in a separate pavilion by the Association "Uzbekcharmpoyabzali" and other leading companies of our country, specializing in the production of footwear and leather.
The central event of the event was a joint forum of the Association "Uzbekcharmpoyabzali" and the Russian Union of tanners and shoemakers, which included the presentation on "Background and benefits of tailoring footwear in Uzbekistan for Russian brands" and the session to establish direct business contacts between Russian customers and Uzbek shoe manufacturers.
During the exhibition, the correspondent of Jahon in Moscow talked with some of the participants.
So, the director of the International specialized exhibition of footwear, accessories and component parts Mosshoes Vladimir Krupochkin noted:
— In recent years, enterprises of Uzbekistan have managed to find a niche and gain a foothold in the Russian market. This is an evidence of the attention paid by the government to the private sector and a coherent foreign trade policy of the country, aimed at expansion of mutually beneficial relations with foreign partners, including Russian companies.
Director of the Institute of Technology of leather and footwear industry of the Innovative research and production center for textile and light industry of Russia Tamara Nazarova:
— Today, great prospects are opened among the enterprises of Uzbekistan and Russia for cooperation in science and technology.
Our innovation center of textile and light industry is developing technologies for the treatment of various skin range for use in the shoe industry. In turn, our Uzbek colleagues have a wealth of experience in the manufacture of leather goods and textile products. Therefore, we are ready for fruitful cooperation in this direction with all interested organizations of Uzbekistan.
Vice-president of the Russian Union of tanners and shoemakers, CEO of Joint Stock Company "Russian leather" Igor Surin:
— In recent years there has been an intensive modernization of the footwear and leather industry of Uzbekistan. In particular, today shoe products, presented at the stand of the republic, testify its high quality and modern design.
I note that between the Uzbek and Russian enterprises there are many more points of contact, which cover not only trade in raw leather materials but also ready-made products. This is due to the fact that in the foreign market Uzbek manufacturer has proved themselves as a competitive and reliable trading partner.
