On the eve of the International Music Festival "Sharq taronalari" correspondent of Information Agency "Jahon" in Moscow had a talk with the artistic director of the Evenk folk song and dance ensemble "Osiktakan" Alexander Vladimirov.

Ensemble is the winner of numerous international competitions and carefully preserves the traditions and customs of the Evenk people:

— First of all, it should be noted that holding music forum "Sharq taronalari" in a magical and unique city of Samarkand, which for thousands of years remained as a center for exchange of cultures, traditions and customs and preserved its identity in contemporary folk art.

We gratefully accepted the invitation to participate in festival and experience a great desire to come to your beautiful country that gave the world outstanding scientists and thinkers.

The upcoming grand event will not only contribute to communication of peoples with different languages, religions and customs, but also to mutual cultural and spiritual enrichment of people from different continents. Moreover, art festivals - are always calling for humanity, peace and tolerance.

We will participate in "Sharq taronalari" for the first time. We know that it has already been recognized in the world and has become one of the largest international music festivals. The increasing credibility of the festival is also supported by the continuous increase in the number of participants and visitors.

The program includes performances of our Evenki folk songs that reflect the national culture of Evenkia. We hope that the vocal works of northern people would win audience and participants of the festival.

In turn, we will be glad to get acquainted with the musical culture of the Uzbek people and other countries participating in this forum. We would be honored to be that particle, which would connect the peoples of our countries.

We wish all the participants of "Sharq taronalari" a festive mood, and let every minute of the festival days give them the most unforgettable moments.
