RUSTAM KASYMJANOV CONTINUES SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE

At the World Chess Championships in Berlin (Germany) next 5 games competitions on rapid chess have been played, according to the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan.

Rustam Kasymjanov finished these matches with a draw with such grand masters as Nguyen Ngos Truong Son (Vietnam), Levon Aronyan (Armenia), as well as chess players from Russia Alexander Ryazantsev, Peter Svidler, Ernesto Inarkiev.

At the end of 10 rounds unbeaten R.Kasymjanov gained 53 ranking points and scored 6.5 points.

The leaders of the tournament - Magnus Carlsen (Norway) and Sergei Jigalko (Republic of Belarus) got 1.5 points more than our compatriot.
