					On the leading French state television "France 2" with a daily audience of more than 10 million people a demonstration of special reports about the legendary cities of Uzbekistan - Samarkand and Bukhara was held. These reports have become integral parts of the television series about the routes of the Silk Road, the first of which were devoted to various provinces of China.
Reports were prepared by correspondents of "France 2" A.Mikozi and P.Ashere who visited our country in May 2015.
The capital of Amir Temur’s state - Samarkand called in these reports as the heart and the most beautiful cities of the Great Silk Road, a place where the Eastern and Western civilizations meet.
As the French correspondents emphasize, as it was a century ago, Samarkand continues to attract attention and arouse the interest of Western travelers with its unique aura, the magnificence of historical monuments, madrasas, mausoleums, blue domes.
With the warmth of the reports described in the noble work of restorers, thanks to art that manages to preserve and present architectural monuments in their original form.
The story of the recovery of the local production of the famous masters of the art of Samarkand paper, dating back to the Middle Ages aroused great interest for the audience.
The report of Bukhara said that its a city of old, from the time of the Great Silk Road, is one of the centers of international trade, "the greatness of a great city," as he described the famous Italian traveler Marco Polo XIII century.
Nowadays Bukhara attracts visitors magnificent historical monuments and original shopping streets.
A special place in the reports takes as a story about the art of making the world famous Uzbek dishes - pilaf, as well as other famous dishes of Uzbek national cuisine.
In video materials idea that Uzbekistan is a center moderate, enlightened Islam, a secular country with a rich history and culture, extraordinary hospitality and friendliness of the population, and therefore attractive to tourists from all over the world.
Special attention is paid to development of infrastructure of international tourism in the historic cities of Uzbekistan.
