On April 14, during a videoconference meeting, Shavkat Mirziyoyev again separately spoke about the ongoing work within the framework of the fight against the coronavirus infection.

“We understand how difficult it is to stay at home, but we are forced to follow this recommendation as the most optimal solution for maintaining the health and safety of our people,” the head of state said.

He emphasized that “residents will surely overcome these temporary difficulties”.

“We will consider the decision on when to cancel the quarantine by thoroughly considering and analyzing this issue, in consultation with the people,” he said.

As the presidential press service reported, the president was presented with a report by the heads of central departments and other responsible persons on the condition of each patient in the regions assigned to them, he was told in detail about the created conditions.
