On May 10, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, while becoming familiar with the creative work carried out in Tashkent, paid particular attention to issues of youth education, spirituality and enlightenment.
In particular, he gave recommendations on the study of the academic legacy of Sheikh Muhammad Sadyk Muhammad Yusuf, the publication of his books.
And this is not by chance. He wrote more than 100 books on various religious and enlightenment topics, made a great contribution to the popularization of enlightened Islam, the growth of knowledge and spiritual maturity of people. His works, conversations, speeches on television and radio entered every home in the country.
It should be emphasized that the books of Sheikh Muhammad Sadyk Muhammad Yusuf were translated and published in Russian, English, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Karakalpak and other languages. Recently his work was translated into Turkish and prepared for publication. The books of Sheikh Muhammad Sadyk Muhammad Yusuf have a broad scientific basis, are studied in neighboring countries, Russia and in Europe.

In an extremely difficult time, the thinker became the Chairman, Mufti of the Religious Administration of Muslims of Central Asia and Kazakhstan, made a great contribution to the revival of religious values and traditions.
As a Mufti, he carried out extensive activities on an international scale, achieved the establishment and development of spiritual and enlightenment ties with many Islamic countries.
At that time, only 20-30 people from the entire union made Hajj. Thanks to the efforts of Sheikh Muhammad Sadyk Muhammad Yusuf, the Soviet policy towards Muslims changed, mosques and madrasas were opened, the number of pilgrims increased. In 1990, 500 Muslims from the Central Asian countries made Hajj from the city of Tashkent.

Sheikh earned great respect of Muslims all over the world. Our great compatriot was a member of the Executive Committee of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, a non-governmental organization of Islamic scholars, the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought. He was honored with the gold medal “Laurel of the Nile” of the Arab Republic of Egypt, as well as the highest awards of Russia, Libya and other countries.
At the initiative of the Head of the state, large-scale activity is carried out to promote the true essence of the Islamic religion, to educate the younger generation as intellectually and spiritually developed individuals. Books of Sheikh Muhammad Sadyk Muhammad Yusuf in various languages will remain for the younger generation as an important source of education.
