Uzbekistan disbursed over 1.3 trillion soums for the construction, overhaul and maintenance of roads last year.
Within the framework of the Investment Program, the road workers reconstructed 255.9 km of roads, investing 428.8 billion soums. 83.2 billion soums was allocated for overhaul of 94.4 km of highways of international and national importance, as well as urban roads.
"The company smoothly worked on repair and maintenance of 42,654 km of roads, including the roads of the Uzbek national highway. 632 billion soums was disbursed at the end of the year," Uzavtoyul reported.
Construction and repair works on off-farm rural roads, urban streets, in district centers and villages, and supply roads to the newly built standard design houses totaled 163.8 billion.
