Tashkent hosted a business forum and cooperation exchange with the participation of business circles of Uzbekistan and Shanxi Province (China).
The leaders and workers of corporations and companies of the two countries engaged in the engineering, pharmaceutical, textile, construction, food, chemical industry, the production of electrical engineering, alternative energy, modern technologies, agricultural products met during the business forum and cooperation exchange.
Economic potential and investment climate of Uzbekistan were presented at the forum. In addition, the event saw presentations of the State Committee for privatization, demonopolization and development of competition, "Uzinfoinvest" Agency under the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade, "Uzpharmsanoat" Concern, the company "Uzeltehsanoat" and the Food Industry Association.
As a result of a series of events, investment agreements aimed at further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields were signed.
