Tashkent Botanical Garden hosts a festive event

It is attended by veterans of war and labor from the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regions, officials of ministries and departments, representatives of diplomatic corps accredited in the country.

The garden is festively decorated. The monitor, installed behind the stage, shows episodes reflecting the courage and bravery of people during the war, the heroism of defenders of the Motherland.

The atmosphere of 1941-1945 is recreated on the square inside the garden. The mock-ups of the command staff, trenches and dug-outs, a medical station, field kitchens are constructed in full size, models of military equipment and weapons of the Second World War are demonstrated. The exhibition also tells about the valor and heroism of our soldiers, selfless labor of our compatriots in the rear, the activities carried out on honoring the memory of many thousands of Uzbekistan’s people who have not returned from the war.
