Tashkent hosts presentation of “Uzbekistan: The Third Renaissance - Concept of the Future”

In the Uzbek capital, Tashkent, the presentation of the book by renowned Pakistani writer Muhammad Abbas Khan, titled “Uzbekistan: The Third Renaissance - Concept of the Future”, is currently taking place, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The book, written in Urdu in 2025, presents the author’s exploration of the concept of laying the foundation for the Third Renaissance, proposed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, framing it as a transformative initiative grounded in the values of enlightenment, peace, and dialogue. According to the author, this concept is perceived as a universal call for cooperation and reflects timeless ideas that transcend generations.

In the foreword, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, emphasizes that the book offers analytical insights that enable a deeper understanding of the future directions of human civilization. He notes that the initiative to establish the foundation for the Third Renaissance, advanced by President Mirziyoyev, is rooted in the spiritual heritage of the Uzbek people and serves the cause of a prosperous future for humanity. The Prime Minister expressed his confidence that Uzbekistan’s experience will inspire Pakistan toward noble transformations and constitute a significant contribution to the development of a new global humanism.

Muhammad Abbas Khan emphasizes that the ideas of the Head of State are grounded in a humanistic worldview. The author interprets the President’s statement, “A good deed begins with noble intentions,” as the philosophical cornerstone of the work and underscores that the concept of the Third Renaissance carries the power to shape the future. According to Khan, this concept represents an innovative model for Uzbekistan’s development and offers a vision for building a more harmonious world.

The book also provides examples drawn from over three millennia of Uzbek statehood. Through specific historical events, the author illustrates the President’s perspective that history is not an obstacle but a bridge, and that the future is shaped as a space for cooperation.

The first presentation of the work took place in October 2025 in Islamabad, with the participation of representatives from the Presidential Administration and the Government of Pakistan, political scientists, experts, and journalists. According to Pakistani specialists, the ideas and interpretations presented in the book have found recognition not only in Pakistan but also across Europe and other regions.

The book has also been published in Uzbek. The presentation in Tashkent is being held in the conference hall of the Center for Enlightenment at the National Library of Uzbekistan. Participants include Khayriddin Sultanov, Advisor and Speechwriter to the President of Uzbekistan; Murtaza Solangi, Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Information Affairs; Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan, Coordinator for Trade at the Prime Minister’s Office; representatives of the Pakistan Television Corporation, political analysts, and other officials.
