TECHNOLOGIES OF THE FUTURE

Mirzo Ulugbek Innovation Center for support of development and introduction of information technologies has started accepting applications and launched its official website.

It will concentrate on the unification of economic entities specializing in information technologies, as well as software developers. The center builds its activity on the basis of the principle of extraterritoriality within the territory of the republic. That is, the IT-enterprises located in any part of the country can become its residents.

The service life of the center is estimated for a decade with the possibility of further extension. Its residents will be provided with some significant benefits. For example, they will be released from paying all kinds of taxes and mandatory deductions to state trust funds, unified social payments, as well as customs payments by 1 January 2028.

Additional benefits are also provided for employees of residents of the Innovation Center, whose salary will be taxed on personal income at a fixed rate of 7.5%, and insurance premiums to the extra-budgetary Pension Fund at a rate of 4.5% by January 1, 2028.
