TENNIS PLAYERS FROM 30 COUNTRIES WILL ARRIVE AT TASHKENT OPEN

More than 100 tennis players have applied to participate in the traditional international women’s tennis tournament Tashkent Open, which will be held September 26-27, in the main draw - from September 28 to October 3.

Master rackets from 30 countries in Europe, Asia and America will attend competitions with a prize fund of 250 thousand dollars, under the auspices of Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).

In the main draw - 17 women athletes included in the list of 100 strongest in the ranking of WTA. Competition eminent tennis players on the courts of the Uzbekistan’s Tennis School of Olympic reserve Sabina Sharipova, who headed republican rating for the first time, Nigina Abduraimova, who broke into the semi-finals of last year’s Tashkent Open, and Akgul Amanmuradova.
