The National Library of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi hosted a scientific practical seminar on "Architecture of times of Amir Temur" dedicated to the study of the preservation of architectural monuments of historical and cultural values of Uzbekistan and study belonging to this dynasty.
As the press service of the Library reports, the event was attended by scientists, architects, city planners, teachers and students of the Tashkent Architecture and Construction Institute, the National Institute of Arts and Design. Kamoliddin Bekzod and library users.
In the course of seminar the importance of research in the field of architectural heritage Temurids was highlighted, which covered the period of the second half of the XIV and XV centuries of the first half.
During it participants made a presentation on "The commonality and individuality in architecture since the Amir Temur", noted the development of construction, architecture and applied arts in Samarkand and Kesh Maurya erected by Amir Timur and his descendants mosques, khanaka baths, caravanserais and other public buildings.
