The award ceremony for the “Kelajak Merosi” Prize was held

As part of their visit to the Center for Islamic Civilization, the Presidents of the Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan attended a solemn ceremony honoring the laureates of the international “Kelajak Merosi” award.

The international award, established by a resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, is intended to encourage national and foreign representatives of the creative intelligentsia who have achieved significant success in literature, culture, art, science, education, and digital technologies.

The winners of the first competition were representatives of the Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan: in the category “Literature” – TURKSOY Secretary General and People’s Writer of Kyrgyzstan Sultan Raev, in the category “Culture” – People’s Poet of Tajikistan Davlat Safarzoda, in the category “Theatre and Cinema” – actor of the Mukhtar Auezov Kazakh National Theatre of Drama Yerkebulan Daiyrov, in the category “Music and Dance” – People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Alim Qasimov, in the category “Fine and Applied Arts” – People’s Artist of Turkmenistan Babasari Annamiradov, in the category “Science, Education, and Digital Technologies” – Deputy Director of the International Center under the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Dilfuza Egamberdiyeva.

In the presence of the leaders, the laureates were awarded the prize statuette, a diploma, and a $10,000 monetary reward.
