Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva met with a delegation led by the President of the Utah State Senate Stuart Adams, reports "Dunyo" IA correspondent.
According to the upper house of Parliament, essential areas of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States were considered. In particular, issues of developing ties in trade, economics, labor relations, gender equality, and strengthening inter-parliamentary dialogue were considered.
The parties exchanged views on implementing joint projects in investment, the market of goods and services, the mining industry, energy, and information technology. They emphasized the importance of implementing specific projects of mutual interest with the Utah business community, establishing cooperation, and strengthening ties between regions.
At the meeting, an agreement was reached on further developing the interparliamentary dialogue, establishing cooperation between local representative bodies, and exchanging experience.
