THE DEVELOPMENT OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS INFRASTRUCTURE

To ensure the connection node of the International Centre of packet switching and development of telecommunication networks of the Republic of Uzbekistan "Uzbektelecom" jointly with Japanese company NEC and trading house Toyota Tsusho launched a new DWDM-line rate of 100 Gbit/s.

According to "Uzbektelecom", the new line has connected the city of Bukhara with Tashkent.

The project is aimed at expanding the capacity of trunk lines and data networks in a few times, which will help create conditions for a reliable and high-speed access to the Internet users of the country-based services.

It should be noted that this is the first system that works at speeds up to 100 Gb/s in Central Asia. This system uses the most advanced technology, which significantly distinguishes it from conventional DWDM-system, operating at 10 Gb/s.
