At the invitation of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier arrived in our country on May 27 with an official visit.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov met the distinguished guest at the Tashkent International Airport.
The main events of the visit are scheduled for May 28 at the Kuksaroy residence. The sides are expected to discuss at the talks in contracted and extended formats the enhancement of cooperation in the political, economic, investment, financial, technical, cultural and humanitarian fields, as well as prospects of interaction within the Uzbekistan-European Union format.
Meetings of the Federal President of Germany with business and public representatives, as well as a number of other events are planned.
Frank-Walter Steinmeier will travel to Khorezm region on 29 May.
