Under the headline in a Japanese newspaper Seikyu Shimbun published an article by the president of the Concert Association Min-on Hiroyasu Kobayashi.
In it, he shares his impressions of the trip to Samarkand to participate in the X International Music Festival "Sharq taronalari", which has been held on August 25-30, 2015.
— We are very happy that we had the opportunity to visit Uzbekistan, Samarkand and see, considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world to get acquainted with the rich traditions and customs of the Uzbek people, - the author writes.
He emphasizes that "Sharq taronalari", which is held every two years under the auspices of UNESCO, made an invaluable contribution to the development of world art, promotes friendship, peace and stability on the ground. Today it is one of the most prestigious international forums and the largest music festival in the whole of Asia.
"Uzbekistan is one of the cradles of ancient civilization, and Samarkand is the pearl of the Great Silk Road - continues H.Kobayashi. - In the days of our stay in the city reigned special, musical atmosphere, I feel the spirit of unity and celebration of different cultures. No wonder they say that "Sharq taronalari" brings together the best musicians in the world, regardless of their nationality and religion. A trip to Uzbekistan and participate in the international festival became our most memorable and joyful events in our lives".
Hiroyasu Kobayashi reports that Concert Association Min-on in the framework of project "Musical journey along the Silk Road" tour organized more than 10 trips of different music ensembles of Uzbekistan in Japan. "We intend to pursue further work on the popularization of Uzbek culture abroad", - the author concludes.
