During his visit to Rome, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Minister of University and Research of Italy Anna Maria Bernini, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
"Candid meeting with H.E. Anna Maria Bernini, Minister of University and Research of Italy, – the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram channel. – Discussed about close cooperation on education, bringing more Italian universities to Uzbekistan, conducting joint research projects, building academic foundation to ensuring advanced economic development, organizing rectors’ forum, and more. Invited Madam Minister to visit Uzbekistan in the nearest future".
It is worth recalling that the delegation of Uzbekistan, led by Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov, visited the Italian capital on May 28-29, where they took part in the third ministerial conference in the "Italy – Central Asia" format and held a number of bilateral negotiations.
