The II Azerbaijan–Uzbekistan Youth Forum was successfully held in Baku, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The II Azerbaijan–Uzbekistan Youth Forum was successfully held in Baku, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event was attended by a delegation from Uzbekistan, Uzbek students, representatives of ministries and agencies, as well as students and members of youth organizations from Azerbaijan.

During the forum, discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between Azerbaijani and Uzbek youth, implementing new joint projects, and supporting youth initiatives.

In his address, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Bahrom Ashrafkhanov, emphasized that friendship and strategic partnership between the two countries are further reinforced through youth diplomacy. The Ambassador also highlighted the importance of expanding joint programs implemented in the interests of young people.

"The main objective of this forum is to expand youth diplomacy, strengthen cooperation between civil society institutions of both countries, and promote joint initiatives and promising projects", - said Otabek Sobitov, Chairman of the Youth Parliament.

The forum provided a platform for a constructive dialogue on creating a long-term cooperation mechanism in youth policy, institutionalizing joint projects and initiatives, and establishing strategic partnerships between youth organizations of the two countries.

The Youth Parliament of Uzbekistan represents the interests of the country’s youth internationally and contributes to the strengthening of youth diplomacy. The forum served as a vivid symbol of friendship, solidarity, and youth diplomacy between the two nations.
