THE ISSUES OF IMPROVING THE PRICING POLICY OF MONOPOLY ENTERPRISES DISCUSSED IN THE CAPITAL

The Centre of improvement of Antimonopoly policy under the State Committee of Uzbekistan on privatization, demonopolization and development of competition hosted a training workshop on the development of competition and state regulation of prices.

The seminar discussed issues on the development of competition, protection of the legitimate rights of natural monopoly enterprises and consumers, innovations and additions to the legislative framework in the sphere of Antimonopoly policy and the pricing of goods monopolies and subjects of natural monopolies.

A representative for integrated management of pricing of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan made a presentation on the theme "The order of price regulation of monopoly enterprises and subjects of natural monopolies".

In the course of the workshop, the participants discussed the normative-legal framework in the field of regulation of prices by the state, considered the issues of regulation of relations related to the activities of natural monopolies and monopolies in the commodity markets of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the order of their inclusion in the National register. Particular interest was given to issues of formation of prices (tariffs) for goods of monopoly enterprises and natural monopolies, as well as the procedure for the submission of documentation for the declaration in the body of price regulation. Hereby the participants discussed the issues of export of goods, the prices of which are subject to state regulation in the domestic market of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Suggestions for further improvement of the pricing policy and pricing on goods (works, services) of the monopoly enterprises were made during the event as well.
