The President of Finland to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan from October 29 to November 1.

According to the visit program in the city of Tashkent, high-level talks will be held during which current issues of expanding multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Finland will be considered, primarily in the political, trade-economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Special attention will be given to increasing the volume of mutual trade and establishing cooperation in areas such as agriculture, ecology, chemicals, energy, digitalization, the extractive industry, and other innovative sectors.

Issues of cooperation in labor migration, culture, and the integration of advanced technologies into the education system will also be discussed.

Views will also be exchanged on the current international agenda, including mutual support on multilateral platforms.
