On September 20, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in New York to participate in the events of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

At John F. Kennedy International Airport, the President of Uzbekistan was welcomed by the U.S. Special Envoy for Global Partnerships Paolo Zampolli, Chairman of the Board of the American-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce Carolyn Lamm, and other officials.

As reported earlier, the President of Uzbekistan will address the General Debate of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly and will hold talks with leaders of several foreign countries, as well as with heads of international organizations and financial institutions.
