The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Brussels for an official visit.
At the international airport of the Belgian capital, the Head of State was welcomed by the European Union Special Representative for Central Asia Eduards Stiprais, and other officials.
On October 24, the President of Uzbekistan is scheduled to hold talks with the President of the European Council António Costa and the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, as well as a meeting with King Philippe of the Belgians.
The Leader of Uzbekistan will also take part in the signing ceremony of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the European Union.
The visit program also includes a roundtable discussion with representatives of leading European companies and financial institutions.
