The President of Uzbekistan discussed practical measures to enhance multifaceted partnership with the Vice President of the UAE

During his stay in Abu Dhabi, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the Vice President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The parties discussed current issues of further enhancing multifaceted cooperation and practical interaction in priority areas.

The results of the historic high-level talks held today, which brought relations between Uzbekistan and UAE to the level of strategic partnership, were noted with satisfaction.

Support was expressed for the full-scale practical implementation of the agreements reached the day before with the heads of leading UAE companies and holdings.

At the meeting, special attention was paid to increasing the volume of mutual trade and investment. The importance of promoting cooperation projects for developing housing and transport infrastructure, energy, mining, urban development, and digitalization was noted.

Implementing joint projects and programs in artificial intelligence, including training specialized specialists, has been identified as a promising area.
