The President of Uzbekistan, during a meeting with the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, noted the importance of increasing bilateral practical cooperation

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev today received the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov, who is in our country to participate in the summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization, reports a correspondent of "Dunyo" information agency.

According to the press service of the head of our state, at the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes from President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the leader of Uzbekistan.
The head of our state noted with satisfaction the progressive development of Uzbek-Kazakh relations of strategic partnership and alliance.
Particular attention was paid to the full-scale implementation of agreements at the highest level, including increasing trade turnover, promoting projects in the field of industrial cooperation and logistics.
In this context, the importance of continuing the effective work of the joint Intergovernmental Commission was noted.
