THE PRESIDENT OF UZBEKISTAN EXPRESSED CONDOLENCES TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE USA IN CONNECTION TO THE TERRORIST ACT IN NEW YORK

His Excellency Donald J. Trump,
President of the United States of America

Your Excellency Mr. President,

Please accept my sincere condolences in connection with a terrorist act in New York which took away the lives of innocent civilians.

There is no justification for this ruthless and extremely cruel crime. We decisively condemn any forms and manifestations of extremism and terrorism.

The tragedy that happened reaffirms the need to unite the efforts of the entire international community in countering such inhuman challenges of our time. Uzbekistan, for its part, stands ready to use all the forces and means to assist in the investigation of this terrorist act.

We express our feelings of full solidarity to the people of the United States of America.

Please convey the words of sympathy and support to the relatives and friends of the deceased, as well as the wishes for a fast recovery to all the victims.

Grievously,

Shavkat Mirziyoyev
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan
