On June 24, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of the Russia Vladimir Putin, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the press service of the Head of our state, the President of Uzbekistan expressed deep condolences in connection with the terrorist attacks in Dagestan and conveyed words of sympathy and support to the families of the victims.
The President of Uzbekistan strongly condemned this inhuman act of violence and expressed readiness to continue active cooperation between the relevant structures in the fight against common security challenges.
The issues of practical implementation of the agreements reached during the historic visit of the President of the Russia to Uzbekistan on May 26-28 this year were also discussed.
The schedule of events, including contacts within the framework of multilateral organizations, was also reviewed.
It is worth recalling that еarlier, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a telegram to President of Russia Vladimir Putin expressing profound condolences following the terrorist acts in the cities of Derbent and Makhachkala, Dagestan. These attacks tragically resulted in multiple casualties among law enforcement officers and civilians.
