The President of Uzbekistan is considering cooperation plans with GE HealthCare

On September 18, as part of a working visit to the United States, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the President and CEO of GE HealthCare for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Rob Walton, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of state, the corporation’s plans to implement projects in Uzbekistan were discussed at the meeting.

The global industrial giant General Electric, within the framework of a strategic partnership, plans to enhance investment and technological cooperation with enterprises of Uzbekistan, including supplies and localization projects of modern high-tech equipment.

GE HealthCare President Rob Walton noted that manufacturing cardiographs, screening programs, and a cardiac information system will be launched. In addition, the investor intends to participate in creating the National Archive of Medical Data in Uzbekistan.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to adopt an action plan to implement joint projects.

GE HealthCare, founded in 1994 as part of General Electric, is an American multinational medical technology company headquartered in Chicago. The corporation’s assets amount to almost $28 billion.
