The President of Uzbekistan notes the importance of enhancing multifaceted collaboration with Kyrgyzstan

On December 21, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev.

Issues of further strengthening the friendship, good neighborliness, and comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, filling them with specific content, were considered.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes to the President of Uzbekistan from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov.

The Leader of Uzbekistan noted with deep satisfaction the high level and fruitful nature of bilateral cooperation achieved in recent years, including the noticeable intensification of contacts and exchanges at the level of parliaments, governments, regions, the public, and business circles.

The Intergovernmental Commission operates effectively, and the Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund is fully operational. The trade turnover and cargo transportation are growing. Cooperation projects are being implemented in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, textiles, agriculture, and other industries. Joint cultural and humanitarian events are regularly held.

The importance of continuing intensive political dialogue and accelerating the implementation of priority programs and projects, including constructing the China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan railway, was emphasized.
