The President of Uzbekistan notes the importance of further enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Kubanychbek Omuraliev.

The results of the joint work carried out within the framework of the chairmanship of Uzbekistan and issues of preparation for the upcoming summit of the Organization were considered.
It should be noted that over the past year, the multilateral partnership of the Turkic states has acquired new dynamics. More than 100 events were held, and several new platforms for practical interaction were created.

Uzbekistan also became a full member of the International Organization of Turkic Culture.
At the meeting, issues of further enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of the OTS in trade, green economy, investment, innovation, transport and logistics, tourism, ecology, youth policy, and popularization of the cultural and historical heritage of the Turkic peoples were discussed.
