On October 23, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the U.S. delegation led by the Administrator of the Agency for International Development (USAID) Samantha Power.
The American side has arrived in Uzbekistan to attend the Ministerial Meeting of Central Asian countries and the United States on development issues.
Issues of further developing constructive and mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation were considered.
It should be noted that together with USAID, projects in healthcare, education, green energy, agribusiness, and other areas have been and are being implemented in Uzbekistan.
During the conversation, views were exchanged on the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the summit of heads of state in the C5+1 format on the sidelines of the session of the UN General Assembly in New York in September this year.
