President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the former Prime Minister of the State of Qatar, the founder of several significant investment and industrial holdings in the country, Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani.

The delegation of Qatar arrived in Uzbekistan to develop agreements at the highest level.

Implementation of promising investment projects in Uzbekistan was considered.

Among the discussed issues were the construction of a modern hotel complex in Bukhara city, a large logistics center, a shopping and residential complex in Tashkent city, the creation of high-speed road and railway infrastructure, the modernization of airports, and projects in energy, metallurgy, textile industry, livestock farming, manufacturing building materials, and others.

Plans to create a joint fund to support the above projects financially were also reviewed.
