The President of Uzbekistan spoke in favor of the effective implementation of the potential of interregional cooperation with China

On September 5, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the People’s Republic of China led by a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Party Secretary of Tianjin, Chen Min’er.

Mr. Chen Min’er conveyed to the President of Uzbekistan the sincere greetings and best wishes from the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping.

The issues of further deepening the multifaceted cooperation and practical interaction between Uzbekistan and China in accordance with the agreements at the highest level, primarily within the framework of active interregional dialogue, were discussed.

The highest level of friendship and all-weather strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China achieved in recent years was noted with deep satisfaction.

Special attention was paid to promoting cooperation projects with Tianjin city’s leading companies in trade, industry, green energy, construction and modernization of infrastructure, agriculture, textile, pharmaceutical, and other industries.

The importance of expanding programs of innovation, educational and cultural exchange was emphasized.

An agreement was reached to adopt a roadmap for mutually beneficial cooperation between the regions of Uzbekistan and Tianjin.
