Yesterday, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the Data Processing Center of the State Tax Committee, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the press service of the President of Uzbekistan, consistent digitalization is being carried out in the system of tax authorities to create convenience for the population and business, to minimize the human factor. Following the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of October 30, 2020, the center was completely modernized. At the expense of 100 billion UZS from the state budget, buildings were repaired and equipped with uninterruptible power supplies, precision air conditioners, high-capacity servers and computers.
This served to increase the capacity of the center by 8 times, expand the coverage of electronic services. Complex processes, such as the calculation of balance lines on face cards, accelerated 10 times. For example, if earlier the calculation of national indicators took 24 hours, now this process takes 2-3 hours. Increasing the speed of data processing is becoming an important factor in reducing the shadow economy.
Technologies of protection against cyberattacks, business analytics are introduced. New software products have been developed, such as “e-ijara”, “e-imtiyoz”, “Value-added taxpayers”, “Tax Audits”, “Automated camera control system”, “Tax gap coefficient”.
The center can be called the “brain” of the domestic tax system. It integrates the data of all taxpayers. About 50 qualified specialists provide real-time tracking of tax turnover and promptly provide remote services.
The President of Uzbekistan got acquainted with the activity of the center. Gave instructions to improve the efficiency of the tax authorities.
